Mac local setup requirements
WinBIZ is a software developed to work with Windows Operating Systems.
It can be installed on a Mac OS workstation via:
- the Bootcamp functionality;
- other third-party Windows emulators like Parallels Desktop, VirtualBox, VMware Fusion, etc.
In order to ensure that the chosen emulator is fully compatible with your peripherals (keyboards, monitors, printers, scanners, etc.) you'll need to test it first. All these products are generally available with free trial versions.
You'll need to own a valid Windows license in order to perform the installation.
The Operating System language must be based on the Latin alphabet (ex: French, German, Italian, English, Spanish, etc.). WinBIZ is not compatible with Operating Systems in languages different from the Latin one (ex: Russian-Cyrillic, Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, etc.).
Running WinBIZ under tools like Wine or Crossover (products allowing to run Windows programs without installing a Windows OS) is not supported.
