Steps to start developing

1. Become a partner to develop applications and connectors
An API key is required to start developing applications that connect to Winbiz Cloud.
To obtain an API key, you must be a partner in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Partnership.
Partners can purchase Winbiz Cloud access or use their customers' Winbiz Cloud access, which allows even small organizations to develop applications for Winbiz Cloud. The Winbiz Cloud access obtained in this way can then be used for application development and testing.
2. Get an API key for free
Once the partnership has been approved by FIDUCIAL WINBIZ SA, the key can be requested free of charge.
The key obtained can be assigned to one or more users at the partner's site: it provides access to data in the cloud via the API.
Only one development key is required per partner. With this key, which cannot be used by production applications, the partner can develop an unlimited number of applications. In other words, one development key identifies one partner.

3. Get the application approved
When the partner considers that the application is ready, they can submit it for approval and listing in the Winbiz app store.
To submit an application, the following information must be provided:
- at least 3 screenshots;
- the list of languages in which the application operates;
- a description of all features;
- a description of the information used by third-party software and a list of API methods used;
- the telephone and email contact details for application support;
- the cost that end customers will pay per month per user.
Submitted applications must at a minimum:
- Implement user login in accordance with the published documentation.
- Implement error handling in accordance with the published documentation.
Once the application is approved, a new production key is assigned to the application and communicated to the partner. Each production application requires a new key. For example, if a partner publishes two applications on the App Store, each application will need to have a separate production key. The same key cannot be used for two applications, even if they are developed by the same partner. In other words, while a development key identifies a partner, an application key identifies an application.
Recorded transactions
All operations performed on the Winbiz Cloud API are recorded along with their results (success/no success).

FIDUCIAL WINBIZ SA provides all Cloud users with a complete log of operations performed by the Winbiz Cloud API on their data.
